City film days are a series of film events, with each of them dedicated to a different city. Annually, a curator compiles a program of short, documentary, and feature films to draw a cinematic portrait of his/her hometown, its history and architecture, its everyday life and its political and social challenges. City film days invite their visitors to explore the multifacedness of urban space. They aim to be both a platform for film makers and an event bringing together different communities in Berlin and beyond. It is hosted by the non-profit organization 21. Oktober e.V.
